Whenever an action film or some genre comes out that traditionally doesn't appeal to the female sex (at least according to Hollywood) with a woman as the main protagonist or at least as equal to her male counterparts, it's not strange to hear about how this character in question is "a role model" since is "strong, intelligent and can do anything".

Is she a good role model without a doubt but is she a good character?

Here's a new one for you: Toadette of the Mario franchise. See, she was playable in Captain Toad, and was just as capable as her male counterpart. But Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam on the 3DS takes it to a whole new level. In that game, she's not playable, but she does single-handedly engineer multiple giant, weaponized papercrafts for you. Today's the day, MLK's Birthday.

I'm aware that it could be a bit touchy of a subject for some people, but I'd like to say that I really look up to him. He's such a role model, because of his work among many others, we have more equality,(the good type, not the bad Starlight Glimmer's type.) everyone can go to the same school, people can drink from the same water fountain, we can sit in the same place. We can now do many things because of many people's efforts, but Martin has done a lot.
